There are 2 ways in which you can withdraw funds from your telebetting account.

1. Fill in the requisition for withdrawal form once off. We will keep this on record. Everytime you request money to be deposited into your bank account. you can simply phone the Telebet Admin department on 031 314 1820 or email telebet2@goldcircle.co.za informing us of the amount you wish to withdraw. 2. Tote withdrawal - Visit your nearest Tab Gold tote with your Telebet account card as well as your ID document.

Yes, fixed odds bets taken through our bookmaker will be debited to your TeleBetting account.
Call the fixed odds number (Local 031 314 1155 / International +27 31 314 1155), and tell the operator the bet that you are wanting. Once a bet has been negotiated, he will ask you for your Account Number and PIN. Your bet is then struck.
As soon as possible after the result of an event has been finalised, bets are paid. Your winning will be automatically credited to your TeleBetting account shortly thereafter. Remember that tax (currently 6%) will be withheld from your winnings. There is no tax on stake money and sport bets.
The fixed odds are found on this website. You first need to ensure you are registed on this website to view Fixed Odds. Fixed odds can be found by clicking on Fixtures and then click on the meeting name of your choice.
The data feed that we receive to generate the odds displays has information for the next race only. Thus only the next race will have page links, and new page links are added as the raceday progresses. The fixed odds information is entered manually, and so all the races are available.
The betting is usually closed when the horses jump. The wagering system has a fixed frequency at which it updates the odds information. This information is then requested by the various display mechanisms (Teledata, Internet, Infield boards, TV's etc) which are also updated at a fixed frequency. Internal processing on some of these machines can also add to the delay. Overall, the odds displayed should be finalised within 1 minute of the race starting (which is usually before the horses cross the finishing line).
The odds are updated within a minute of their being received in the racing office. They are marked as being "Provisional" until the race is made paying. The tickets left for the Exotic bets are updated within a minute of the collations being done on the main computer. Take note, however, that the odds system is usually started at 09h30 every day, and before that the previous day's odds will still be showing. The runons are usually updated by 11h00 on the working day following the race meeting.
The odds pages are set to expire every midnight, and so your browser should reload the page on a new day. Sometimes, this does not happen automatically, and needs to be done manually. Press the Refresh button on your browser.
The racecards are updated every day. Only those meetings for which the fields have been finalised will have racecards. Fields are usually finalised 3-6 days ahead of the meeting. For details on other meetings, go to the Nominations area.
We do not supply race predictions of any kind, nor do we give tips on which horse/s are likely to do well or win the race.
All this data can be found under by selecting the Fixtures menu option and then select the Meeting of your choice. After you have selected the desired Meeting you will see the link to the odds. After you select the link to the odds then you can select the race number at the top of your screen to view odds for that particular race.
Under the Fixture menu, you will see a calendar. All you need to do is to click on a date in the calendar and then you will see all meetings for that particular date. Now you click on the Meeting of your choice and you will see the odds link in the dropdown list.

The results and dividends can be found by clicking on Fixtures at the top of this page and then by selecting the meeting of your choice. You will then find the Results/Dividends link which you need to select.
The runons can be viewed under the Fixtures Menu. After you select the Fixtures menu option you can click on a Meeting to view the Run-Ons. Please note that to view Run-Ons you will need to be a registered user on this website.

  • There were technical problems at race time, and it was not possible to produce a file.
  • There were problems with the transferring of the file from the TV Van computer to the Web Server computer.
  • The file has yet to be transferred. There is a limited bandwidth to the racecourses, and it is not always possible to transfer the file immediately. Usually the transfer will be done the next day.
  • Videos are produced for the Greyville and Scottsville racecourses only.
Some of the files may be uploaded during a race meeting, but all files will usually be available by 11h00 on the next working day after the race meeting.
